Hello dear Cute prayer warriors, I need your help again but not for me......
as you read this post I ask if each of you could please spare a moment in prayer for our Jerri Blight (jerrib) who is having a Sentinal Node injection at 6:40 AM followed by double mastectomy around 11:00 AM, Monday 26th February, (Vancouver Time - USA West Coast time.)
This equates to Tuesday 1:40 AM & 6:00 AM Sydney time.
It is a tough road facing cancer of any kind and having a double mastectomy, a three (plus) hour surgery, is not only physically draining but (can be) extremely traumatic, especially under these circumstances, regardless of how strong we think we are, nothing can really prepare us for how it may affect us.
I'm afraid I won't know anything more until Jerri's daughter, or Jerri herself, contacts me after the surgery, until then I am sending all my love and praying for the best possible outcome.

Yes Suzanne, Jerri told me you two had been conversing and I am glad for both of you to be able to share this with each other, though wishing NEITHER of you had to go through it at all.

I hope that it is some comfort to our Cuties that are facing cancer, that so many of us are praying for them. I like what Jrob said and while praying for them I visualize the circle around the world lifting them up.

Jerri has been in my prayers since you first posted about her. I've often wondered how she was doing. That was all at the same time we had to go and pick up our daughter from Vancouver General Hospital after her heart surgery. At that time I had thought of Jerri but didn't know her last name or I could have tried to give her a phone call. In times of distress it's good to know you are held in God's hands. “ I just wanted to let you know that my moms surgery went well, she is in recovery and resting now.
The great news is that her CT scan was clear and her cancer has not spread.”

Mine too today Chris, started at 8:00 AM and got absolutely nothing done, I just couldn't sleep until I heard from Jerri's daughter, then I tried to get busy embroidering some shirts for a customer. I might go back downstairs again tomorrow too, :-) xx

Thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers. I know that all your prayers are what pulled me through this scary hurdle I had to jump over.
I just want to let you all know that I am home and doing well. I have experienced no pain at all and feel just as good as I did before the surgery, if not better. I don't always leave messages, but do give flowers and pray for those going through hardships no matter what they are.
You all are in my heart and just reading all the kind words, will help me get through the next months to come.

Jerri, I would love to come and visit with you some time when we are in Vancouver again. If you are OK with that would you PM me so that I know where to find you. Our daughter will be making more trips to see the heart specialists. I continue to pray for your healing.
