Hooking again, I have made a few things but just finished this, it's call Housecoat Sweater from Heart Hook and Home, it comes in children and adult sizes. I added the hood , I tried pockets but just looked to bulky in the wrong places. This site is great, lots of free designs, for all sizes. They also have a face book site which is very helpful!

thanks for looking.

Looks beautiful and warm. I can see where the pockets would have made it too bulky

I am sorry but every time I read you start off words "Hooking again" I have to laugh.but that is the American in me. Your crochet work is excellent.. It looks like a wonderfully warm coat. Was the material Mohair?

Ha ha ha! Down under that word means something totally different! I think I'm with Angie in thinking that way, te he he!
I know when I went to the Doctor's for my Bursa removal last year he said I had "Hooker's Hip" and I was mortified, but he said he was referring to the position of a Rugby player! (A Hooker is one of the positions in a rugby league football team. Usually wearing jersey number 9, the hooker is one of the team's forwards).
Anyway what a beautiful job you have made here on this coat. I'm sure it will look gorgeous on. Love Chris

Thanks to you and Angie I now know the use of a crochet hook was meant. Not the very different activity I remember from the many detectives I' ve read. He he indeed.
