This design is from Emblibrary and I thought it would be a fast and easy project. Not so. Following the instructions, Hand-sewing the FSL flap to the case was miserable. Also the largest of the design is not big enough for the average size scissors. Still I like the design

It is a very pretty scissors holder. Sad that it is unusable for any but small scissors. I wonder if it would be good for seam rippers. Yes, I use them a lot. hehe

It is lovely...however I am puzzled as to why it wasn't digitized to have the lace flap added while ITH...and it would certainly be easy to enlarge it to hold larger scissors...

Typical EL! Their ITH designs often miss out the obvious.

Maybe it would not fold as easy. As far as enlarging it. I would not hesitate doing that to the casing, but always worry about changing size with FSL designs.

Another reason might be the size hoop it would require.

Hmmm...enlarging the length should not compromise the the FSL part of the design...

If it was done in one the lace would be inside out when folded over.

They are so beautiful Angie, even though they aren't big enough for a standard pair of scissors. I'd love them for a pair of nail scissors too in a personal hand care pack. Love Chris

Beautiful case, may be you put a smaller scissor in.

Oh sure. It still can be used for a smaller scissor.

It is very pretty, I would send them a message and ask them some of these questions. I know they have (in the past) made adjustments per customer request. It looks like it should be a "no hand sewing" project to me.

Beautiful Scissor Case. I always find EL Instructions are too detailed. Hugs

Love it, did you remove the design or just not sew it? I bought this design when I saw the one you did.

Yes I removed the design. I have a lot of upholstery material which were samples. I thought they would be great for that. Now I wonder.

It's very pretty, though. I hope you can find a way to enlarge the design to make it fit what you wanted it to.

It is a lovely design but I see what you mean not fitting the scissors. Great job on making it.

It is Ok for the medium and smaller scissors. I think I will figure out how to get around it
