Vista doesn't have a good rep, does it? My hubby got a new system with it in it and he hates it too.

I remember 2 years ago in software class for Bernina Artista, the ladies who had Vista were complaining. I'm so computer challenged that I didn't understand what the problems were. Good luck Joanie for attempting all by your self. my sweetie's son helps me, but he now here very often. Most of the younger generation are really good.

I've been doing some research into this before I buy a new one, and I got this link from someone who did a dual boot-partitioned the hard drive into 2 parts, so the xp is there for the work, but the vista is still there when (haha) all the bugs go away. Here it is for a look see. Please keep us posted as to how it went. Did you buy the discs from somewhere? I know I need xp still.<br />Joanne
