Hello Cuties, I finally got into my sewing room late this afternoon. This is what I came up with for your glove box. This is my start on the next bus trip gifts. You can put your insurance card on the backside and pink slip inside envelope. Really you can use it for any car paperwork.
My car came with one of these to hold the car manual, but it won't hold all my paperwork we keep about the car services or tire purchase/rotation.
They are made out of the Oly Cloth, I think is what its called, I first heard about from our Bev from Texas. The blue Walmart bags are made from this stuff. (I keep my potatoes in one of my WM bags and onions in another-lol) The best thing, it doesn't ravel, so I don't have to serge/overlock the edges therefore it sews up quickly.
Now I just have _ _ many more items to make!-lol-........I wonder what made me think of car paperwork......
San Antonio, Padre Island, Corpus Christi, LBJ Ranch.........
I am through with these, no embroidery. I didn't even take the time to put my brand. Trips have been coming too close together and I am having trouble finding time to start my own project.
Of course, dealing with people behind in their work has me on edge and I am usually a patient person, or so I thought. I have been trying to get the police report of the car accident. The officer said wait 10 days. I waited 11, called and they had no paperwork about it. Luckily I knew the officers name and finally had to contact the chief of police to get the officer to file the report. THEN we go to pick it up today, day 13, and he had mistakes anyone reading it could see. Of course the officer was out of town and now I have to wait until next week.
I cannot get the other guys insurance to pay, until I get paperwork stating that the other guy was at fault. You can just look at both vehicles and surmise where the fault lies......
If so I would do some in a Mans colour.
Just for the ones who wouldn't put pink in their glove box.
Well done on this idea.
Glad you liked the idea, thanks.
