I was challenged to make a dolls house quilt with hexagons "in the hoop" of an embroidery machine. This is my first. It measures 10cm by 12cm and the hexagons are coloured with Inktense pencils.
The major problem with dolls house quilts is that they don't drape.

I like what you have created. I found the same thing as far as the draping is concerned. With plain material and sewing one can force it. How about adding a little valance, but then it would no longer be ITH. Did you create the pillows?

I did - but many years ago! It is ages since I did anything to my dolls house.

Sue, Are these hexagons the same as you have used for the centre of the SP medallion centre block? Yours are much nicer.

The centre of the medallion isn't hexagons - that fill is circles. I did wonder about using it for another little quilt!

Awesome job. I think that I would go blind trying to color the hexagons!
