UPDATE BELOW-Good day Cuties! I just finished this bag for Pearlie.
On our trip from Florida, we stayed overnight at a hotel that had the back of a Walmart, on one of the sides of the hotel. So Pearlie and I walked around to the entrance to check out their sewing department. I saw this fabric and said I thought it would make a nice tote, for the patriotic holidays.
She asked me how much fabric would it take for her a tote. I told her and she bought double the amount, so we both could have one (I told her not to I didn't really need one), but she got enough for me because she wanted me to make hers!-lol-She liked the luggage slip I had on the ones we gave away. Needless to say, she didn't win one.
So this is for Pearlie and mine is cut out, just have to sew it up. Front with pocket, back with trolley sleeve/luggage slip...and my name! I didn't forget Kim!-lol
Hope you like it and I get mine done today too.-Toogie
Update-got the second one finished and also made a bag, she can hook to a strap/loop I attached to the side seam. (can you see in the last photo?)The bag is wide enough if she wants to put her wallet in to secure it, she will be able to.
I forgot to say earlier, the totes are unlined but finished with french seams.
The next trip after Texas MAYBE going by you, is to Niagara Falls, but I won't make that trip. I need my passport re-newed because we would be going into Canada side and I will have Nora and Gus right before for a week, night and day, so if I survived (lol) the week, I know I won't be in any shape to travel.
Hope you are well and doing great. Tell your girls hello Love ya!-Toogie
