Tumbled the whole sewing room today to remove two outdated machines and put two nicer, newer ones in. Of course, nothing fit right, so I did a lot of fabric moving, raising and lowering of tables, relocating lamps, etc. It's about the worst it's going to be, and tomorrow promises the hope of the restoration of order. Solved a lot of mysteries in the process. I'm sure you know the feeling. So, that's where that leftover fabric went. So my ruler was right here, under things. It's amazing what shows up. Also, stirred up some trouble - now what was I going to make with these three fabrics that go together? Also, discovered some cotton that I was ready to cut, but it had not been pre-washed and shrunk. Hope to not do this again for a long while.

But you will be so much happier once done, I never seem to be able to finish it. Once it looks nice i can not find a thing anymore. I am sure you will do a lot better.

Congratulations! New machines are always nice. I sympathize with the cleaning. I started about a month ago and haven't been able to find things since. I to am trying to fit my new embroidery machine in also!

I think my sewing room gets tumbled the day after I get it in order, so for me, its a never ending job. I still can't locate my drawing I need, don't know where I hid it. I hid it from DH, but hid it so well, I can't even find it. He does visit once in awhile, but not that he would notice too well....like Kay, I want to see your new workhorses!!!

I do a little, then sit a little and cut on fabric, then stand and do a bit more. Same old (new) bad knee - you know.

Congratulations on the "newer and nicer" machines! I know exactly what you're going through - I have some pictures from way back when, of my nice and tidy sewing room - it hasn't looked like that since! LOL!
