This news is devastating. My heart goes out to all of you.

About 2 weeks ago now our Gus banged his head. He had a large knot protruding, on the forehead. We called before bringing him in and was told the signs to look for a concussion, but the knot was a good sign, even though it looked terrible. He never developed any symptoms, but it was very scary. On the other hand, a child from church, same age as yours and ours, fell. She had to have surgery for a brain bleed. She came out okay, but falls can be unavoidable, at their age.

May God comfort all of you in your grief. A friend of mine has a son who needed a kidney transplant, and received it after much dialysis and discomfort. They were so grateful to the family who had lost a child but had donated his organs. Its been a few years now, and they still think and pray for that family. So please know that Tommy will never be forgotten, nor will the gifts that his family gave to several others.
