Beautiful, I love this style heirloom. The pintucks do look like smocking in the picture but just as lovely. Been a long while since I've done my love of heirloom sewing. I think most children this age get shy when you don't want them to.

Oh so good you got her picture! Such a sweet looking child and a beautiful dress you've made and matches her mom's sweater set. No, the mom doesn't look like she's had any children, much less five...Does she have trouble with her walk? I know you said she is shy, but she is standing like she needs mom's help.

No, she just didn't want her picture taken, so the mother is getting her to turn around she had hid her face in her mother's skirt.
