This is part 2 of quilt as you go from my previous post. This was my first attempt at quilt as you go. The design comes from Brother and the stippling was done by a friend.
You stitch out the design first with the wadding attached. While still in the hoop you place the backing underneath, run around with a basting stitch and then proceed to stitch out the stippling. When you finish, cut your block to size and continue with quilt as you go.
The last photo is the back.

What a great project and design choice! Stitching around the candy canes really makes them stand out. Thanks for all the added information too. The QAYG techinque was a good way to keep the back of the design hidden.

Kay, I don't sell any of my embroidery it is donated to different charities. Maybe if you ask the Cuties they can tell you what a fair price would be. love Barb
