The instructions are a little different for the various Windows operating systems, but here is the short version for Windows 10: Go to print your document as you normally would, and select Microsoft Print To PDF as your printer.

For other Windows operating systems, if you do not have a PDF printer option normally, you can use one of these other options:
In many situations, you can print to PDF without installing a PDF printer at all.

Google Chrome: Click the menu and and click Print. Click the Change button under Destination and select Save as PDF.
Microsoft Office: Open the menu, select Export, and select Create PDF/XPS Document.

The snipping tool is much quicker and easier. I like to be able to see it in Embird Iconizer instead of having to open a document file.
