A little Sneak Peek at what I am up to...I am making a Wedding Quilt for my nephew and bride...I have been wanting to learn to use my 14" x 14" hoop so I decided no time like the present...and with blocks finishing at about 16" x 16" it doesn't take as many!! So I digitized this specifically for this large hoop... it's tricky though as this hoop stitches one half then you turn the hoop and it stitches the other half...and I have no control over where the design will split...so digitizing to eliminate jumps in the design was interesting to say the least...anyway, I am pleased with it. I will put it together as a Quilt-As-You-Go...One block down...19 to go! Each block will have a different feather quilt design in the center, with the corner floral being the same...First photo is the front, second is the back...
You are so good at this. You sure have found your 'talent'. I only WISH I had a machine big enough to try a quilt like this! Maybe I would get my anniversary quilt made :(
My largest hoop is 20x36 cm or a bit smaller than 8" x 14", my largest square one 8". I don't particularly like rehooping although accurate placement on my Ruby seems to work well.
