Hi Cuties, here is the dress I made yesterday and today for Ophelie. I bought the fabric from Japan 2 yearsago and I'm sure Ophelie will wear it later in the Springtime/Summer. Ophelie is getting so tall, so I decided to put a large band on the bottom - it can be turned up if needed. The fabric is a border style top and bottom of Merry-go-round horses and then at the lower bottom it's the dark scrolls and pianos and birds - very unusual.
I was telling Jan (hightechgrammy) that I was making one and she asked me to post it when it was finished. It's the lightest of cottons and almost see-through, so will be a great dress for really hot days. Love Chris

And, if you look really close at the top of the bodice, I've put two little ceramic HEART buttons as an added interest - they have little flowers on them like the fabric. Love Chris
This fabric is very lightweight almost like open weave cotton.
There are so many other patterns available from Kayo Horaguchi. My fabric is called "Carousel and Piano". At $11.00AUD for only half a metre it works out to be very expensive, but so worth it. I bought my pieces of fabric with the green piano, the one shown on the website has a pink piano. I can't put up the website as I'm just answering your post, but if you want to have a look at their fabrics check our KAYO HORAGUCHI Carousel and Piano print fabric. Love Chris
