Thought I would show you what I bought from Aldi yesterday. Their fat quarter packs $6.99 for 6. Part of the sewing special this week. Works out to $1.16.5 each which is pretty good for Australia.

Not as good as Toogie's special buy but I think it is pretty good value.
First time I have seen them there. They have had the sewing machines before.
I got there early expecting a mad rush but when the doors opened only about 12 women and 1 man looking at the sewing stuff. What made it worse was the fact that we were all Very Mature aged.
I went again this morning for other things and saw they still had plenty left if you didn't see the advert.

According to Aussies this is a great deal! I know things are higher there. I don't always get as good a deal as I got last time. You have a good selection, too. Anxious to see what you make with them!😀

One Australian dollar equals $1.33 US .Paypal adds about 5 cents on top of this amount.$1.39 US came to $1.85 the other day

Worth a look. I know a lot of people do not get junk mail and may have missed it.

You got a better choice of packs, than the 2 Aldi stores that I went to yesterday. Both stores had the same boring packs .Another lady next to me ,had the same thought.See what Spotlight has when they open their renovated store on Wednesday.

The 2 stores I visited had 5 different packs so guessing that would be at all stores. I have laid them out in rows showing what was in each pack.

Did you have the overlockers and sewing machines? They were on that page.
If Vic missed out I would phone them and ask why.
There customer service centre phone line is very good.

This was a special buy as they call their advertised items. Each Wednesday and Saturday something new is offered but not kept on the shelves permanently. If you have one near you pop in and grab a catalogue to see costs nothing to look.

They certainly look better laid out I must admit some pieces wouldn't be my first choice when buying but down the track may just be the colour combination I need.

Do the Aldi stores in the US stock sewing merchandise? I think of them as a grocery store.

Ours have had fruit trees and gas grill, tools of every variety, but I've yet to see any fabric. :-(
by babash 06 May 2018
As far as I know this is the first time for us for fabric. I know Sue showed us some projects a while ago with fat quarters she bought from Aldi in England and I was so jealous that we didn't get them as well. So there is hope for you yet.
