I gave myself an early Mother's Day gift and I just got it today! I had old VHS and 8mm tapes transferred to DVDs. First one has my oldest son's 1st birthday so that was 30 years ago. Kid's birthdays, school projects, dance recitals, so many wonderful memories that I haven't had the proper devices to watch on for so long.
I had mine done at a local shop so they wouldn't get lost in the mail. I'm so happy!

Mother put all the 8mm 's of our childhood on VHS tapes a while back. Guess it's time to bring the technology forward again. I loved seeing those old Christmases and irises with my sister smelling them, and my brother hogging the camera. I think he was the original Photo Bomber, before we knew that name. Have fun looking.

What a wonderful gift. I have tons of pictures just sitting in a box that no one ever goes through. Not sure I want to put them in albums because no one looks at those either. Decisions. Decisions. Happy Mother's day.

How wonderful! I've been meaning to do this with the old tapes laying around of my girls when they were little.
