Good morning everyone. I wanted to thank everyone for my birthday wishes. I had the best birthday ever. It was a pleasant day and ended up with friends surprising me with a birthday cake so we had a surprise party. It was so much better than my birthday last year. I have spent the last 15 months getting back on my feet and staying on my feet. As many of you know I have a rare type of vertigo called vestibular neuronitis which means I have permanent damage to my right vestiblular nerve. I had gotten much worse to the point I couldn't leave the house without my handsome hubby or a close friend guiding me to where I needed to go. Fortunately we were able to find a Physical Therapist who was willing to work with me to get me back on my feet. So life is much better now. I am able to stitch but only tolerate an hour or so and have to stop. But I can walk into my room now and enjoy it. I spent a year not even able to spent minutes in it. It may take me longer to get things done because I have to take rest periods but I am working my through my projects one by one. And this is why I have not been posting much I do read through the posts and give out flowers, but many days my time on the computer is shortened because of fatigue. So sorry for missing so many birthdays, I was wishing everyone happy birthdays just not always able to post. So vertigo brain is interesting, but I don't recommend it. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
I am sorry though this past year you have had to struggle so much. I am going to tell my daughter (PT) that a PT helped you over come some things. I had a nurse that specialized in Vertigo come as a favor to my SIL and helped me with mine. I don't know what 'kind' I have just know when it hits, my world is spinning/nauseous/dizzy. I terrible past year for you!
I am happy to see you post more, but totally understand when you can't. So what if it takes you a little longer to complete a project. At least you're moving forward, toward an end.
You have a great day too Karen-
Toogie
