WE'RE HOME!
We got to come home this morning from rehab. My son is doing much better. He is of course still in pain, but it doesn't compare to what he's been through. His little daughter has a stomach virus, so I brought him home with me. I love having him here, but I know his heart wants to be there and hopefully he will get to go to his house on Monday. I just want to tell all of you how much I appreciate your prayers, phone calls, texts and PM's. I'm so lucky to have each of you in my life. A kiss to your heart and be sure and tell all of your friends that you personally know of a miracle of God. He's in there in my guest room.

Bless your heart, I know how happy you must be to care for him. I also understand that, no matter how good of care you give him and love him , there's no place like home. It is your faith that brought you through those darkest days. God is good for sure. I am so thankful to God and happy for your family that he is still with us. He will get stronger, as he was a healthy looking guy to begin with. Hope he doesn't have to stay on pain meds too long. Enjoy the time you have him there and give him an extra hugs from us.-Toogie

This is such encouraging news Jerrilyn, and I pray that his pain will soon dissipate. I know how much he must want to be home in his own place, but he's best there with you for a while especially as his little girl has a stomach virus. I've just taken a picture on my phone of your post and will read it out at Church in the morning. I've had my Church praying for him too. You have made my day!!! This is a super birthday gift to me and an answer to many prayers. I hope in spite of his daughter's virus preventing him from going home, he manages to enjoy being in a normal situation. And prayers will continue for his continued recovery, decreased pain, increased strength and stamina and to be home with his wife and children sooner. Please keep these wonderful milestones coming.

He got to go home on Monday as planned. He has had 2 doctors appointments this week and 2 physical therapies. It is making him stronger but afterward he must sleep for most of the day. It's getting better!
