Just finished this one tonight.....the buttons are working buttons, but the neck is all closed.....this way one can undo a few buttons and the wrap stays closed at the neck and does not fall off the shoulders.....this will be in my fall show.........

You are amazing! Love the poncho style and the variegated wool. This would be good at the moment as the days are getting cooler.

We are just 18 days away from Winter here in Newcastle. Each season begins on the first day of the calendar month, so Summer is from December 1 to the end of February, Autumn from March 1 to May, Winter from June 1 to August, and Spring from September 1 to November. Love Chris

Lovely. I admire you for thinking ahead. I wake up on the first chilly morning and wonder where my brain has been.

Thank, Jerrilyn...we got a chilly snap here...had been in 70's and 80's and now we have the heat on since yesterday so it was easy to finish this up last night......

My brain must still be asleep - I had to read the comment three times before I realised 70s and 80s were temperatures, not decades....

LOL, Martine......I forget there are so many interpretations to words, especially internationally......sometimes I feel like I am in a 70's or 80's time warp!!

Lovely colours. I like your idea of the closed neckline - an ideal combination of shawl and poncho, which makes it very versatile. Great thinking!!

Nicely done. Like the idea with the closed neck and buttons.
