He just wants to be a part of the family and he chose yours. hehehe. He can't understand what the problem is. Reminds me of the kitties from a few days ago looking for homes. What a hoot! Or should I say What a caw, tweet or chirp? Pun intended.

Maybe he is posing for you,so you get the colours just right for your next kookaburra towel.
Maybe he is one of the previous years chicks & doesn't want to leave home.Spring is only a few months away & he might bring home a mate, then there will be more trouble.
Gandalf would gladly swap you a bunch of Noisy mynas & Indian mynas for him. Kookaburras don't pick on him.

Hi Judy, he IS one of the siblings from 2016. He mated with a bird and they had one chick last September which upon maturity left the nest along with the mother bird. He has been hanging around ever since. Love Chris
