Update on my husband , still in hospital 9 weeks on Saturday.We were told today they have to amputate his right foot. He has be on dialysis because the poison from his diabetic ulcer on his foot is causing all the problems. Hope after they remove foot he can go to rehab and get a prosthetic.foot. Please pray for him, and that he can go to rehab and then home.

Thank you,Chris. Thanks heavens it is all paid for by the government. Nine plus weeks the bill would be in the thousands of dollars. They will even paid 75% of cost of new prosthetic foot. He is okay with it, and going to rehab. If he didn't have this done they said he wouldn't live very long before it took over his other organs. I just want it done and rehab and home here for care. He will have a nurse come here for a month or so to help him. Thank you for you kind words and love. Hugs Lynn

I am so very sorry to hear this news. So many people don't understand what other problems diabetes can cause.
