Been dabbling with Cutwork Whitework for one of my classes...this is my first time designing this type of project...I think they turned out fairly well for a first...still need to do a bit of tweaking...these were just stitched on bleached muslin and I used a wing needle for the border trim...There are two different whitework patterns...Thanks for looking!

Thank you, Vicki...that is a real compliment, especially coming from you...I do think they look like they are from days gone by...with a strong heirloom quality...

Beautiful, Kim. What program do you use to digitize white work?

They really look like heirloom pieces and gorgeous in every detail! I sure don't see anything that needs tweaking. Your digitizing skills are amazing! I assume that you teach a class that you will use this design for. Wishi I could be in one of your classes!

This is beautiful!! I love the heirloom elegance of cut work and wing needle. I use both. Did you use the cut work needles or did you trim by hand! Whichever way you chose you have mastered the look that used to take hours to accomplish when it was done by hand. Well done! Avis

Thank you, Avis...I did not use cut work needles...I think they are too much trouble...I cut the fabric with scissors...I appreciate your kind words.

My mother used to do the hand cutwork. She would be amazed at your machine embroidery cutwork. I'm totally going to give this a try. It is just beautiful.
