I was thinking of making more cards in time for Christmas and played around with some different sticky stabilizers to see which one worked best. I made a birthday card for our sister-in-law as a test. The oval design is one of Elsa's and the font is in my software. The fabric is light green and it didn't show well. If anyone else is making cards and has some tips to share I'm sure the group would love your input. Blessings to you all, Avis

I've never used sticky stabilizer, but you've made a wonderful card with it! Is this the kind of stabilizer that you leave in, or is it a washaway that you aren't going to wash?

I've always used tri-fold cards with a window. The biggest problem I've had when I don't use the window type, is finding an envelope to put the card in.

This stabilizer sticks to the fabric. When all is done I just cut out enough to then stick to my blank card. Not sure just which stabilizer I like best and above all...looks best. I must look for some cards that you describe! Sounds lovely. Thanks for your comment. Avis

Thank you, Chris. My SIL phoned to say she really liked her personalized card so I'm glad. She is a beautiful person, inside and out. Thanks for your comment. Avis

Thank you. I tried using up some of my very oldest embroidery thread. It's like trying to use up your fabric stash. haha Avis
