I've been away from home for a few weeks so when I had time after doing all of the washing, I had to try some ideas I'd had while I was away. The necklines on these two tops were made in the hoop (including adding the facing.) I've shown a close up of the design on the paler one. The stitches are some of those available on the sewing part of my machine, but a bit of jiggery pokery, I got them into the embroidery design.
Both tops found their way into my sister's bag when she visited the other day.

Nice way to spiffy up a plain top. Obviously sister liked it too.

Unfortunately you can't add it to an existing top - have to make it up after the embroidery.

Love them! Wished I had this spool and needle plus scissors as a stitch file in my machine.

Very nice. I can see why they made their way into your sister's bag!
