So sorry you are going thru this. Hubby had it bad.....avoid hot showers- try cool or tepid. Take all your meds and remember you are contagious!

Been there, got the t shirt. So sorry for your pain. I did take the shot after going through it and I had a major reaction, but am hopeful it means I will not have it again. There is a newer, improved vaccination out - ask your doctor for his wisdom. Will pray for this to end sooner.

Other Cuties, get the shot, even if you have to skip groceries for a week. You do not want this pain.

I'm sorry for your suffering. But I don't understand why your doctor would prescribe an antibiotic for shingles which is caused by a virus and not bacteria. Time to get a new doctor and new meds!

So sorry Dee, have seen many cases including my hubby during my nursing years. Know they can be extremely painful.

Oh my! I have had them so certainly feel your pain!! That med you are on will help, but the quicker you get on it the better. Hope they caught it quick. I did take the shingles shot AFTER having them, but waited quiet a while before taking it. Now they say to take this new one also. I sure am going to. Don't get around young children. Did you know you have to have had chicken pox to have shingles? Praying for pain relief and recovery!
