OK, Cuties......I have all these paper bags for customer purchases (along with the yellow ones you have already seen).....I knew it would be too hard to stitch heavy designs to the bag, so I stitched it on black stabilizer and then created a round border for the outside to attach it to the design.......none of my fancy edge scissors cut very well anymore, as you can clearly see, so I will go around this again with just a straight edge to clean it up......this design is called Flowers Galore #3 and will be up on my website tonight.....

That's a pretty hot air balloon! The shading on the roses is wonderful too. That's a pretty ambitious projects to put on a lowly paper bag, but I'm sure your customers will really enjoy it!

Wow, fancy schmancy! Great idea...if you stitched this on tear away stabilizer, couldn't you tear it away cleanly around the outside stitching?

I never thought of that, Kim....I will try that on my next bag....I think I would probably have to use a couple of layers of tearaway to hold a design that is a bit dense.....

Gorgeous design and way too nice for a paper bag! Makes me want to buy something just for the chance of getting a beautiful bag. You could trim it like applique or add another circle just a smidgen larger and then trim - just a thought.

I agree, too nice of a design for a paper bag. Make it simple. I am not criticizing, just thinking too much time evolved for a bag.
