She picked the fabrics before she had the pattern.....then we had to find a pattern that she could use both pieces in!!!

So glad that we have been able to carry on the tradition thru our local 4-H club. My daughters and son all were involved and now our oldest 2 grands.

Chris, Both girls are in the 4-H sewing club that I am a leader of and yes, it is great they are showing such an interest in sewing.

That is a Very nice job for an 8 year old!! Not enough young people are learning are learning to sew, a skill that can be used at any age. I love seeing the projects the kids are making, please keep posting their projects.

She is one of the most exuberant kids picking out fabrics and patterns!
I love the color and design combination. Perfect for an 8 year old. That dress will be worn until she out grows it.
