I have some downloads that are in the wrong format. Is there a program that converts from one to another? I use pes and got pcs and pec instead .

If you go to the link below and become a member (free) you can upload designs and have them reformatted for free. Once you sign up and log in go to Freebies, bottom left hand side of page, click on that, and you will then see "format Conversion" click on that and follow the prompts. easy as...

Oh, i should have mentioned the reformatting is instant, you don't have to wait for it to be done by a person or anything, upload, wait a few seconds then dowload in correct format of choice. hnr, M

It's well worth downloading. It converts at the click of a button AND you can resize with it - actually that's what it's for in the first place - which makes it really worth having.

Liz, I second what everyone else has said about *Wilcom TrueSizer*, it's a great little program, easy to use - and FREE! Love, hugs and flowers sweetie, and all the best with your design converting.

I have the 4D Embroidery system and it converts any american format to what ever format you desire. I've used in many many times, also resizes and has bunches of patterns included. But it's not free. I have found that when I download a pattern in my format 'hus' the colors are all screwed up, so i have to download in the 'pes' format then convert with my 4D to keep the correct colors. I think others have had the same problem with losing the colors on the conversion.

I use Embird (not free) but have also tried Wilcom TrueSizer (free). Embird does offer a free demo which is good for a period of time and/or number of downloads. When my demo period was up I tried Wilcom but was hooked on Embird. If you only want it to convert designs Wilcom is good.
