Haven't been on much lately. Ultra busy with family stuff going on. My Mom was finally able to have the biopsy of the mass they found in her abdomen yesterday. They tried two weeks ago but found that she was so constipated, they could not get a clear shot of the mass with the needle so opted to postpone it due to all the blood vessels surrounding it. So we finally got her colon cleared out and they were able to do it. We should hear sometime next week what exactly it is. Her primary doctor is pretty sure it is cancer but we will see. Praying for God's guidance. My husband's Mom's Alzheimer disease is getting worse. It is taking a toll on his Dad and he is starting to show signs of forgetfulness and poor judgment as well and denies that anything is wrong. He insists that he is capable of taking care of John's Mom and they are still living at home. He is still driving but will not give it up. It is only a matter of time before he has an accident. John is trying to do everything he can to help, but gets no support from his sisters. Enough of the problems. Thank you for letting me vent. Thank you for your continued prayers.
If you can, try and get home help through the Alzheimer's Association. I'm not sure if you have that sort of assistance where you live, but it's a form of respite for lots of things. I see Jennifer (parkermom) has suggested something similar with Aged Care, they can help so much. I hope that John is getting some "me" time, it's a big strain on your health too. Love Chris
