Two of our girls just hanging out on a summer afternoon. This is the window that Jim made for them.....the window works like a normal window, but when opened they can jump up and get fresh air safely.....

Yes.....we tiled and grouted the floor and put a screen mesh square in it so I can dump water in it to clean it and just swish the water to the screened hole.....

That is a great place for them to be, especially on a hot summer's day. The grass outside looks lovely and green.
Meanwhile, down-under, I'm sitting in my sewing room watching that pesky Kookaburra flying in and pecking his beak onto our gumtree. He's been bashing my windows again, getting beyond a joke now!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Chris

Chris you may have to be cruel to be kind and block the entry to the nest..
Chris, can you put a window film on the window, one you can see out of but it looks dark to them? We had the same issue with our front picture window.....we had birds breaking their necks hitting it and I was devastated.....we put in a sun window shade (it looks like sunglasses) and haven't had one issue since....

Lovely ! My Ki Ki uses a doggie door but she thinks it is a kitty door. She is not happy unless she has access to the outside world.

We have a kitty door leading out to the sun porch, too, so they get fresh air from that as well...….

I passed the picture on to my daughter. She loves cats and her dog/ Her cat's name is Ringp. I told her being Ringo was knighted we have to call her cat "Sir Ringo" I curtsy to him when I go over there. They laugh about it. Thanks for the pictures you post
