I just got this tape from Kimberbell that is too be used with ITH projects. It is not supposed to gum up the needle. I have been using painter's tape you know the blue stuff or the green frog tape. Now I have paper tape!! BTW shipping and handling was FREE! yeah!

Hate to burst your bubble, but check on Amazon for surgical paper tape and it is loads cheaper. A box of 12 rolls is $8.69 compared to $2.00 for one roll of the Kimberbell. I have been using it for several years now. Hugs. Nan

I use Surgical Paper Tape and get 24 rolls of 1/2" tape for under $9.00...free shipping for Amazon Prime members...
I prefer 1/2" over the 1" for my projects...

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered some. And I got an additional discount as well by choosing a slower shipping option.

I have used paper tape for years when altering sewing patterns but never thought about using it with my embroidery machine...duh! Thanks so much for the tip!
