I covered a couple of IKEA chairs using fat quarters from Aldi and I had a few bits left .... so I made a bag. I used my own modular tote design and used a simple applique design in place of the zipped pocket and the flap pocket. I made the handles with faux leather and scrap plastic tubing. The third picture shows the bag ready to be taken out of the hoop for the last time. Just the last seam in the lining left to stitch.
I've added a chair picture for completeness. (Disappearing nine patch for you quilters!)

These are fantastic! The bag is so soft looking and a great shape. Your quilted chair is just perfectly lined up. I don't seem to get my quilts quite so perfectly in the right place. Nicely done!
