I just cannot ever remember being so cold. So cold I am absolutely miserable. I do not know if it is just South Africa where we build houses with no provision for heating. We do not even have severe winters. It is 10 degrees today, which is cold for S.A. - blowing a gale and no sun. Our house is basically open plan so any electrical or gas appliance is a waste of time. At this moment I am sitting in my little sitting room on ‘top’ of an ancient gas heater. Thank goodness our winters only last a couple of months.
Thank you. I feel much better now. Better but not warmer.
(Advice from Utah, where we get very cold winters)
Eastern Cape. Our winters are usually very mild here with very hot summers.. Hope you can keep warm, next week is Spring. Lynette
We've just got back today from being in Canberra (freezing down there) and Wollongong yesterday and today and the wind chill was very cool indeed! I love it, as at least you can rug up. We'll be complaining in a few months about the heat and humidity which is revolting!!!!!!!! Love Chris
We are having 95-101 degree Fahrenheit temps, total opposite of you at the moment. It doesn't take long for you to 'break a sweat' in this heat so we don't stay out too long. At least I don't go out too long, nor do I let the kids, when they are here.
Always thinking fondly of you and wish I could 'warm' you up-Toogie
