We had a cold winter also, now the humidity is so bad can't be outside. The world weather is changing.

Oh my dear airy fairy, dear heart. Ten degrees is cold ANYWHERE, I can hardly bear cold weather, and it gets even colder here in Tennessee some winters, and our winter lasts much longer than 2 mos. I've been told so many times, "You have thin blood"-- haha. Wish I could blow some of our hot air your way. Buy you anything electric blanket and wrap up in it.

I agree, this has been a VERY cold winter in many years in East London,
Eastern Cape. Our winters are usually very mild here with very hot summers.. Hope you can keep warm, next week is Spring. Lynette

I'm sorry you feel cold at 10C and ask for your forgiveness for snickering from north Idaho. Here, we consider closing our windows or wearing jackets at that temperature. (P.S. Our roof is rated for 100 mph wind.)

It has been very cold here in Tasmania one of the States of Australia this year. I don't think my sewing machines like the cold either. Hope your winter is soon finished. Hugs

It has been a cold winter in Western Australia , I will be glad to see summer this year .

Its winter here sometimes.We had lots of days a few weeks ago with temperatures were in the 20-25C range, then the cold southerly winds arrived.Friday it was t shirt & shorts weather with smoke from a fire somewhere nearby.Monday it was about 11C but according to the weather man it was warmer at 4am than it was at 2pm.It should be back up to the low 20s C by Friday if they are right.In a few months we will be complaining of the humid hot weather .

I know how you are feeling Sarah, it's been cold down under for this winter too. I don't live that far away from Judy (killiecrankie) and some days it's been beautiful.
We've just got back today from being in Canberra (freezing down there) and Wollongong yesterday and today and the wind chill was very cool indeed! I love it, as at least you can rug up. We'll be complaining in a few months about the heat and humidity which is revolting!!!!!!!! Love Chris

Dear Sarah, I do feel for you. I too freeze in the cold temps, but not right now, except at church. Half my fingers were white/froze Sunday. I kept slipping one under my DH's arm and the other under my leg, to try to get the circulation back. I think they have the a/c on 60-65 so my husband and I both have to bring jackets in the summer! I think when you are too cold, you can't concentrate on anything you are trying to do, for being so unbearably cold!
We are having 95-101 degree Fahrenheit temps, total opposite of you at the moment. It doesn't take long for you to 'break a sweat' in this heat so we don't stay out too long. At least I don't go out too long, nor do I let the kids, when they are here.

It has been icy cold here too. It's so cold I feel like I am damp, even sitting inside with winter track pants, singlet, shirt, cardigan and fleece jacket, and the gas heater blasting away and I'm still cold. Bring on Spring PLEASE!!!
