I've just had this message from Yoriko:
"Thank you for mention my website, I just received 3 enquiries about the membership, and decided to open a membership until 31/12/2018 for USD25,00. I hope this will help me with my finances. In fact I am currently blind of right eye, and I will have a surgery in November. It's very hard to do any design job. I tried to logon to Cute, I lost my password and I used the "forgotten password" button in Cute but it didn't work. Please could you ask my Cute family a prayer for me for a recovery the vision on my eye. The name of the disease is macular hole. Please tell them I miss everyone dearly."

My thoughts and prayers to Yoriko....I had vitrectomy surgery last February a hole in my retina (very similar to Macular Hole) which is probably the same surgery that Yoriko will have in November. I am still undergoing treatment. It does make digitizing difficult. My retina surgeon indicated that it would probably be a year before I would get the best vision I will get...my vision is still improving so that is a good sign...best to you Yoriko.

Oh, Yoriko......I am so very sorry to hear this.....you are one of the best digitizers I know and such a loss right now to this community.......my mom had macular degeneration and was blind at death...the form she had did not have a treatment.....I pray your issue will be able to be corrected and that after healing you will be able to continue your skills.......much love!

The surgery to fix the macular hole didn't work. They are going to do another surgery on the 11th. Once again she sends her love and asks for your prayers. It will be some time before she knows if it worked as it is a 2 part surgery.
