Adorable, I've been doing the same. Have 12 done so far. I'm doing the ones with the contrasting sleeves and elastic in the neck this year. Mine go to an orphanage in Haiti and most times are washed in a creek, so satin ribbons are out of the question but Like you I love doing the patch pockets and using rick rack to trim them with. Sizes range from 4ys old to 10 so I do 4-5. 6-7.and 8 9 and 10. Simply making them a little longer with each of the ages.
