In the hoop Pencil case.<br /><br />
I made this using scraps of off cuts.<br /><br />
I had a few problems with the directions and wondered if anybody else has used this design.<br /><br />
The applique was so simple but the construction was more complicated than usual. I printed out the PDF and thought I followed it exactly but must have gone wrong somewhere as I had to unpick a seam. Just interested if it was me or not.<br /><br />
Any feed back would be appreciated.<br /><br />

I made a second one and went much slower and made notes as I went along. Still think the directions leave a lot to be desired but happy with the result.
This is one project not to be done when all you hear is Mum Mum I need you in the background.

I have this pattern too, and the sides of mine didn't go together as well as I wanted. My zipper would have been better if I had tucked it inside like yours rather than having tabs on each end. I do like your choices of colors.

The zip was tucked in on this one and the sides stitched fine. It was the top and bottom I had issues with. The colours were off cuts and I got DH to pick 12 from a stack I had and put them in whatever order he thought looked good.
Your husband has a great eye for color and the arrangement is spot on!

It's cute as can be. Forget about their directions. While you remember what did work, write down and type up your own PDF for next time! This is too nice to only make one..
