Hello Cuties, one day when I was at our niece's (suppose to have been working in kitchen-lol) she asked if I wanted to ride with her to her cousins. (I call her my niece but in fact she is married to my husband's nephew.) So dh excused me for a little while-lol-

Anyway, She wanted me to see Claudia's quilts she made and her paintings. Claudia is an excellent artist which I did not know. While there, Claudia took us to her sewing room. She asked me if I wanted some thread racks. I saw some small ones and asked these, but she said no, these larger ones. She gave me both of these racks. Claudia said all of them were given to her. She said she never refuses anything the woman offers her because she may not give her anything again. She showed me her Bernina embroidery machine the lady once GAVE her. My niece had told me about the machine she was given, about a year ago, but I never imagined it was that nice. Wow, to be so lucky!
Of course, I then couldn't refuse. I brought them home. The girls can use them.

That's enough pegs for 300 reels of thread. What a lucky you are. Helping others always brings a reward whether it be a smile or something they think you might have a use for.
That is always a problem trying to find someone to take something too good to throw out.

Yes, I am like Claudia. I can't just throw good items away. The one my dh made me have enough for 208 spools and it is full. Then I have one for serger threads...

This was some hubby made me.The first and second photo the same, holds 206 spools. 3 is my serger threads-4th photo is daughters. She wanted hers taller, mine is wider but they each hold 206.
He also made a wide like mine for Kathy a friend of ours and a smaller one for someone I used to work with. I don't have a photo of the smaller one, tho.
