Back on August 11, I asked for prayers for Alexis who was in critical condition after being struck by a car. I want to thank you all. She has been released from the hospital. She still has a ways to go, but thank you all for your prayers. God bless you!

This is wonderful news! Please continue to keep us updated on her progress. Encourage her not to give up and do the therapy, even tho at the time it is exhausting, it will be worth it in the end.
When my mom was in her forties and I a teenager, she was in a bad car accident. Doctors said because of her head trauma, other injuries, and almost 90 days in a coma she would be a vegetable IF she lived. (That's how they put it back then.)
Well, it took a miracle and a very long time. She was like a baby, having to learn everything all over again. The damage that it did leave was to her equilibrium. She was trying to learn to walk again and fell, breaking her hip. It never healed and threw her more off balance. She was able eventually to live on her own, but she never walked again, although she lived until her eighties. Don't give up!
