Thank you to the Cuties who advised me on the best stabilising methods for the blocks I was embroidering for my grandchildrens' quilts. Special thanks to Chris (Pennifold) and lilylady. I used a sew in stabiliser and floated some cut-away under the denser area. I have made 19 squares which will be alternated with a print fabric. Still a lot of work to finish them.

These are beautiful blocks. The colors are vibrant and the stitching smooth. You did a wonderful job on these. Can't wait to see the whole quilt.

Thank you. It will be a while before it is finished. The grandkids are visiting next week so I have had to put it away as it is a surprise for Christmas.

Learning something new. What is a sew in stabilizer? Your stitch out is absolutely perfect.

It is a Semco product that I bought from Spotlight. You use it like any other stabiliser, but you leave it in as part of the quilt.
Thank you for the answer.
I was wondering the same . Thanks for the explaination
