As it's been raining all day, I decided to cook a batch of Choc Chip Cookies later this afternoon, but I added Sultanas as well.
Recipe: CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (recipe is on back of packet)
125gms butter (softened)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup caster sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
1 and a 1/2 cups of Self Raising Flour
1 cup of Cadbury Chocolate Baking Chips (either white, milk or dark chocolate)
Preheat oven to 160C. Cream butter and sugars till light and fluffy. Whisk in the vanilla essence and egg. Stir in the sifted flour and then fold in the chocolate chips.
Place teaspoons of mixture on a baking tray lined with either grease proof paper or baking paper and bake in moderately slow oven at 160C for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. They are delicious.
As I didn't have a full cup of choc chips I filled it up with sultanas. Trev loves sultanas more than the choc chips. Enjoy. Love Chris

4. Packet of Sunbeam Sultanas
Here in Australia, our Raisins are much plumper and jucier than our Sultanas (especially in the dried fruit)
