UPDATE: I had lots to do today and on my way home I called in to Amy’s Place - when she saw my newest shopping bag she loved it and I asked if she would like one like it. Of course she said yes and so she’s got it. I came home and made a new red one!
Now here is my new Blue one.

Yes, you are right Kim, it's Reindeer and snowflakes etc. It was a bit trickier than previous ones as I had to make sure that both sides of the bag had the pattern the right way up!
Of course when I first sewed the panels on I had them upside down, still learning after all these years! Love Chris

Have you seen the colored mesh screening? Check eBay or even just type it in the search box and others will come up. Makes really pretty bags. Yours are cute. Love the red one. Are you using a merger to finish the seams? I make these for the teacher end of the year gifts and add a book and a few other items for relaxation. Had not thought of using them for the grocery store. Hugs. Nan

Lovely bags, the mesh comes in all colors, finding a supplier who carries it and the correct name of this product, My last lot I got was grey background with a burgundy tartan pattern. I am away at present and when I get back I will see if I can find out more info for you.
