We finally have our Insude plantation shutters fitted today. We are thrilled with them. Love Chris
1. Front of house
2. Master bedroom
3. Guest bedroom
4. Trev’s and kids television room
5. Lounge room
We had to move our chairs etc away from the windows whilst the installer was here now everything is back in its place. Very happy!!! Love Chris

I love your shutters! Your house is lovely! You have done so much to your house it must feel like a new house. Hugs, Suzanna

Yes Suzanna, we’ve completely renovated upstairs. Trev has relocated his office downstairs so most things are done. I wouldn’t mind a new lounge but I’ll have to work on him!! Love Chris

Beautiful shutters! Love how they set off the house when closed and can be opened up for more light.

You got a lovely result. They give such a nice, soft light in a room. Congratulations. I don't know what you'll do with your time now - quilt and house complete!

Oh, Chris, these are lovely! I bet you're over the moon that all the workman are gone and everything is back where it belongs!

Hi Deb, the worst part was for the past 8 weeks having to have the front awnings down all the time as we had no curtains/shutters etc. on the inside of the house and so no privacy, everyone could see inside! Love Chris

They look great Chris. We are also planning on getting shutters though I suspect I will end up organsing it myself while my husband continues to procrastinate. Might as well get the downstairs bathroom done and the internal staircase while I'm at it.
Enjoy, Lynne

Thanks so much Lynn, I do love them but I think I'll need one of those static cleaners to remove dust etc. We live on a busy road and there's always dust! That reminds me I must clean the fan in the master bedroom above the bed! Love Chris

Love plantation shutters, they look great! I am sure there is a special tool just for dusting them.

Thanks Chris, I am sure there is. I know you can buy those micro-fibre dusters, they should do the trick! Love Chris

Very nice indeed. You must be very happy that it is all done. I am still waiting to make curtains for all my windows. As they say 'All good things comes to he who waits' Maybe I'll have them by next summer. Hugs

Ha ha ha! Meg says the same thing. She's waiting for Ray to hang up the curtain rods so she can put hers up. I don't think he wants them though! Love Chris

That's true Sarah and when opened give lots of light. It was a miserable day on Friday very overcast and rainy. You can see the clouds in the first picture they were very grey! Love Chris

They look great Chris. My SIL got some for her windows. As much as I like the look of them I have to say I wouldn't want to dust them. I have a pair of slatted doors between my half bath and my closet.......call me lazy, I don't care, I hate to dust!-lo

I think all blinds need dusting from time to time, it just depends on how good your eyesight is!!!!!!! Love Chris
