Two of the ladies who come regularly to my J club asked me for a "nice bag pattern". They have Janome 350E machines and their "big" hoop is 140 mm x 200 mm so this was a bit of a challenge!

Made in the hoop except for a couple of straight seams to finish. The last picture is as it came out of the hoop for the last time.

Wow...that had to be a heap of hoopings for this! I might just defer to the sewing machine it would be ever so much quicker!

Twenty. However it only took me an afternoon including taking photographs for the instructions and doing a few design tweaks. There is quite a lot of stipple quilting which means it can stand up by itself.
