I've made a lot of these this week whilst testing this new design with a few tweaks so I thought I could make them in my sleep. I was proved wrong this morning when I decided to make another one for my own kitchen. I was half way round adding the binding when I realised that I hadn't put the back fabric on! Luckily I could add it and stitch the quilting again on top of the first lot and then continue with the binding.

The set of four is available from Engineered in Stitches. I used the Day of the Dead fabric with black for my daughter's kitchen to test the designs.

Don't you just hate it when you make silly mistakes..I do when I do, and we all make them, sooner or later. Oh well, turned out nice in the end. I like the top one best, as I'm not into the sugar skulls or day of the dead emb or fabric, even though you did a wonderful job..

The autumn colours are for me. I like the day of the dead designs, but they don't "go" in my kitchen!

Lovely work but cannot see the black in your kitchen but I will hazard a guess where they are going.
