Hello Cuties! I have an electronics question.
I have an IPhone 4-I know it's almost obsolete-lol- my question is, when I am away and try to download a design from my email newsletters, my phone says Download Failed -Safari cannot download this file. Is there ANY way I can download from my phone?
I have been collecting the Cars alpha from Stitch Delight and even tho I will get the newsletter, with the free letter, by the time I get home to my pc, the download link has expired. This happened before and I don't know if my phone is too old or if you have to have something installed on your phone, to dl from the phone...HELP PLEASE !

If you already have space in the iCloud you might want to use it. In that case, the files download to the Cloud -- not your phone.

Thank you rescuer once again. You are the computer tech here, for sure. I tried what it said, to open the file I was trying to dl but it just gave me the dl option, so again I couldn't do anything. I will try again when I get a new newsletter tonight or in the am. I was trying from another site, just to see if I could, as I already downloaded and deleted the SD newsletter this am. I do hope I can get it to work for me.
I changed the link to one that might work better.
It may be that your phone is trying to "open" the file. Check this link: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/if-you-cant-download-an-item-from-the-web-ibrwa006/mac to see if that is the case for you. I will look for other solutions when I can.

I hope you get the help you need. Sorry I am of no help. I wonder if I can download to my android tablet. I have the cloud but don't know how to use it either. I should ask a grandchild to help! Duh....I need to get with the times. Suzanna

Toogie, if you download Dropbox you can download Daleen's Carfont easly, or if it does'nt go to Dropboy, mail it to yourself.

I do when we travel is carry along a usb stick /flash drive. Most of the motels now have a "business center" with a couple of computers for their guests. I log in and go to whetever site I want to get a design from and can just download it to the stick. When we get home I just switch them over to my permanent files.
