A big THANKYOU to Barba - I wrote to Simplicity and they answered me yesterday. I found out what I needed to do and have made the dress for Delphi.
Ophelie will have the same fabric but in a different pattern as the pattern I made for Delphi - Simplicity 5704 doesn't go up to 8 year olds (Ophelie and Aqualina).
I've taken two pictures of the dress, one with and one without flash. I've made a little belt to go round her bodice but haven't put the belt holders onto the side seams. I'll do that over the weekend. I tried the dress on her today and ended up folding the sleeve binding in on itself a bit further. All in all I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.
I'm hoping to get a start on Ophelie's tomorrow. I then will do Jasana and Aqualina's asap, but their fabric is gold and white. Love Chris

1. Dress with Flash - belt is hanging around the coat-hanger.

Congratulations Chris the dress looks great. I like the way you have used two fabrics. PS was there anything on the instruction sheet that you were not aware about when you started without it?

No, but I like to have instruction sheets to ensure I'm doing it in the correct sequence. Love Chris

It is the light on the camera that goes off when you take the picture in a lower light. Hugs, Barba
That's correct Barba. I have a Canon camera that uses a flash light when the lighting around you is dark. Love Chris
