Well number 2 dress is nearly finished. I want to put some top-stitching around the armholes and neckline, but as it's now 9.15 and I'm tired I think I'll do it tomorrow, if I have time.

I've got an AGM for my U3A (I learn Italian) to go to at 9.30 till 11.00 and then a luncheon at 12.30 which may go on for a couple of hours, then I collect Dana's kids from school. I'll see how I'm faring.
This pattern is an Ainslee Fox design from here in Australia. It's mean to have a contrast bias binding on the shoulder line, but I didn't like it, so made by own bias and I decided to cover the buttons too. I'm pleased with it and Jasana tried the bodice on and it fitted. Only 2 to go, one for Aqualina in gold and white and one for Ophelie in the red and white. Love Chris

Another beautiful piece, another lovely little lady. I remember the joy I felt when my mom made our christmas dresses. Of course we were five girls so sometimes we had similar fabric and looked I twins but she had made each with alot of love,

Lucky little girls,
Big hug

Beautiful and great choice of material. You are lucky that the girls actually wear dresses.

Thanks Angie, yes, they still like wearing them. At the weekend though it's t-shirts and shorts as it's getting quite warm down-under! Love Chris

Thanks Toogie, yes, I know, it's odd us having the heat during Summer when you guys are experiencing Winter cold. I'd gladly swap, I hate our summers, they are very hot and HUMID! Love Chris

Beautiful dress Chris, I am sure it will be much loved. I too hate Australian summers, much too hot for me despite living on the far Sth Coast of NSW and on the water. Perhaps I'm just wimp.

Hi Lynne, thanks for your comments and I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the summer heat, it's just the humidity that gets me. Growing up in South Australia one would think I'd be used to the heat of our summers!! Love Chris

Lovely dresses.I have been wondering for awhile, about how these metallic print fabrics ,stand up to constant washing.

Hi Judy, they are very soft and will wash well. Jasana being nearly 12 will not get the dress too dirty! She's a real little lady!! Love Chris
