This is just gorgeous Michelle, did you digitise the design? It's perfectly beautiful. Did you stitch the inside borders first and then do the design on the inside? I want to know how you put this altogether. Love Chris

thanks Chris, no did not digitise, not there yet. I had a frame which I enlarged so that it would fit the outside and inside I did a stippling stitch between the two frames and then stitched the center bird design. Lots of adjusting and fitting but I loved how it turned out.

The double frames you put around the center motif really draws your attention to the center design! I can't quite tell if the first fabric close to the cardinals has some pretty decorative stitching or actually a different fabric! This is a fantastic design and pillow!

Absolutely beautiful! I love Cardinals too. Had them nesting in our backyard when we lived in Arkansas. Sure miss them.
