Yeah! I survived the project! Back in the 70's a particular President of the United States made a temporary adjustment, allowing aluminum to be used for electricity instead of copper, even though the risk of fire dramatically increased. My house is now aluminum free! I urge you all to inquire if your home was built in the early 70's. Got my machine finally stitching again.

While we're thinking about house fires... My volunteer Firefighter friends advise me that THE MOST important thing we can all do to reduce house fires is to empty the lint trap in the dryer after every use of the dryer. Seems way too simple, doesn't it?

We are quite trained to empty the trap after every use! it is so important.
This time of year for the folks that have a live tree to make sure to water it daily!

Big job We went through an upgrade and brought in up to code wiring a few years ago. HUGE job... took them almost the entire summer. I am glad it is done and we are safe too.

It does make a difference. it jsut feels different, and I am not so concerned as we had 3 boxes arc. Thankfully they were noticed and attended to immediately, but I have a souvenir that shows the danger.
