FYI...I'd been noticing that Embroidery Library had stopped posting a notice if you have already purchased a design, just in a different size. I noticed this after I purchased the same design, just in a different size. So, thinking I missed something, I asked them. They confirmed that they have deleted that function. So, now I have to search my files just to make sure I did not have that design already.
If you put a design in your cart that is the exact same size, it will still warn you.

Since they consider it a "different" design because of the size...it will not warn you...the only time it will warn you for a single design is when it is the same design and the same size...It will tell you on a set that you have ordered that set...bummer, I know....but some times, people will go back and order the same design in a larger size, so it does make some sort of sense...

WHY DID THEY DECIDE TO DO AWAY WITH THIS FEATURE? IS IT BECAUSE IT HELPED US? OR JUST SO THEY COULD MAKE MORE MONEY? THEY ARE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP.
It is a business and up to the buyer to check.
all of life is about the almighty buck right???
I thought it was a co-ownership of a group of people. I sent them an email when they went to new format as I can barely read their print--everything is just too light in color, then getting used to finding what I thought was so easy before. As they say, nothing changes for the better. You don't get the great 'deals' there anymore either. I found other resources that you get more bang for your buck elsewhere. Yes, there designs are so pretty but I've found some just as pretty. I have spent a pretty penny at their site too, believe me and this past year that stopped nearly so. So many of you have given me sites to visit that I love and follow more so than Emblibrary or Urban Threads. I thought they were 'it' but there are so many more plus all the lovely people I have met thru online that do digitizing. As said though by someone before--they are a business and it is meant to make money.
I AGREE with every word you said.In fact the Christmas Club this year only gave me $10.00--which used to be much more.I don't go on there anymore because I can hardly read the print. I'm trying to come up with other places to shop.

A way around the chore of searching your files would be to put all the sizes in the cart and if no warning comes up remove the sizes you don't want and buy the one you do.
Just a thought to me this would be quicker.

Great idea...that should work!
yes, but still lots of extra work for something that helped us qo easily
That would work! But I'm perturbed that they delete this function.

Urban Thread is now doing this too! Now I use the Windows search program. I put all the differt size numbers of the design in the box and let Windows search for me.
